Troop 290 is under the dynamic leadership and direction of head scout master, Mr. Joseph Ingram, Sr. Joseph Ingram Sr. has extensive training in scouting and has received many prestigious awards. The most recent being the Silver Beaver Award which he received in March 2008. He is assisted by three wonderful assistant scout masters: Denorris Lasseter Jr., Donald Miller, and Darryl Nunnally. Troop 290 is assisted by three dedicated and conscientious troop committee members who include Mrs. Dorothy Hudson, Mrs. Linda Wortham, and Mrs. Shirley Leaphart.
